Our Team

Rise Again was conceived by Ben Joseph at an "American Friends of the Israeli Navy Seals" (AFINS) event where his friend was speaking. Ben realized that many units, especially in the IDF, lack direct access to an American donor apparatus and fundraising platform, inspiring him to create an organization to bridge this gap. Co-founders Michael Sheffy, Michael Gohari, and David Braun have been integral to getting Rise Again started and driving its continuing success and momentum. Operating as sister entities in the USA and Israel, we focus on resilience and recovery for surviving families of fallen soldiers facing severe financial challenges.
